Trisodium phosphate, with the chemical formula Na3PO4, is a type of phosphate. It is prone to deliquescence and weathering in dry air, producing sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate. Almost completely decomposed into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide in water. Used in the electroplating industry to prepare surface treatment degreasing solutions and alkaline detergents for unpolished parts. In synthetic detergent formulations, due to their high alkalinity, they are only used for strongly alkaline cleaning agents such as car cleaners, floor cleaners, and metal cleaners. In the food industry, using quality improvers to improve the cohesiveness and water holding capacity of food.
