MELAMINE

Melamine, commonly known as melamine or protein, has a molecular formula of C3H6N6 and is named "1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine" by IUPAC. It is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic organic compound of triazine class and is used as a chemical raw material. It is a white monoclinic crystal, almost odorless, harmful to the body, and cannot be used for food processing or food additives.

Melamine is an important nitrogen-containing organic chemical raw material, mainly used as the main raw material for manufacturing melamine formaldehyde resin (MF), an organic element analysis reagent, and also used in the synthesis of organic and resin as a tanning agent and filler in leather processing. It is also used in industries such as wood, plastics, coatings, papermaking, textiles, leather, electrical, pharmaceutical, etc. It can also be used as a flame retardant, formaldehyde cleaner, fertilizer, etc.
