Calcium chloridum (formula chemica: CaCl2) est compositum solidum album vel subflavum inorganicum, ad genus salium pertinens. Est halide typica ionica et late in variis campis adhibita propter suam summam solubilitatem, hygroscopicity et siccitatis. Secundum formam hydrationis est in diversis formis physicis, communissimo ente dihydrato (CaCl2·2H2O). Solubilitas eius alta permittit ut in aqua cito dissolvatur, magnam vim caloris solvens, eamque valde utilis facit in applicationibus quae calefactionem vel siccitatem celeri requirunt. Praeterea, calcium chloridum saepe in aqua salsa, in via agentibus deiciendis, et desiccantis in armorum refrigeratione adhibitis.
