Bromide calcium est sal inorganicum cum formula hypothetica CaBr2. Est acus obliqua sine colore crystallum vel crystallum conformans, inodora, sapore salso et amaro. Densitas relativa 3.353 (25 ). Aqua solubilis, neutra in solutione aquea, solubilis in ethanolo, acetono et acido, leviter solubilis in methanolo et ammoniaco liquido, in aethere vel chloroformi solubilis. Duplices sales cum alcali metallico halides formare possunt. Fortis hygroscopicity. Usus est pro exercitio olei, tum pro bromide ammonium fabricandis, charta photosensitiva, incendia agentium exstinguentium, refrigerantium, etc.
