Ammonium chloride, abbreviated as ammonium chloride, is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula NH4Cl. It refers to the ammonium salt of hydrochloric acid and is often a byproduct of the alkali industry. Nitrogen content of 24% to 26%, appearing as small white or slightly yellow square or octahedral crystals, available in both powder and granular forms. Granular ammonium chloride is not easily hygroscopic and is easy to store, while powdered ammonium chloride is commonly used as a basic fertilizer for the production of compound fertilizers.
purpose
